Carpet City is a business rooted in family values, built on a solid reputation, and has come a long way from its humble beginnings in 1998. The company started life as a one-man floor laying venture and as the volume of business increased, it developed into a dedicated husband-and-wife team based on the top floor of the family home in London.
The company slowly but steadily started to gain a reputation for absolute integrity, a high level of customer service, superb quality flooring and expert fitting skills.
All these years later, we still maintain our strong focus on a very high standard of excellence and complete customer satisfaction, a reputation of which we are justifiably proud and work hard to maintain.
The original premises at the founders’ family home was soon outgrown and along with our handful of employees, we moved the company to a nondescript little garage some three years later. As demand continued to grow along with the need to increase our stock levels and accommodate our growing client database, we were forced to expand on a larger scale. So in 2005 we took the plunge and made the decision to purchase our current warehouse premises.
Throughout the years of trading, the business has retained its core values and although the company has evolved from a husband-and-wife partnership to a flourishing premier flooring company, we still stay true to our roots and remain utterly focused on our customers.
Our staff members, number among them top-notch specialist fitters and knowledgable sales staff who are simply second to none. From the top of the company hierarchy trickling all the way down, we are deeply passionate about what we do.
